Porbandar: A team reportedly comprising of NIA sleuths, Gujarat ATS and IB was conducting a search operation on the Arabian sea coast in Gosabara area of Porbdandar district in Gujarat which is notorious for landing of weapons and RDX for use in Mumbai blasts of 1993.

Though there were no official words from police or any other authority about it, initial unofficial information suggested that the team of sleuths were searching some weapon and gold etc hidden under the sand on the coast.

JCB machine is also being used for digging the ground for the operation going on since 9am this morning. Gosabara is situated at around 15 km from here on the Somnath highway.

The whole area has been cordoned off.
