Rajkot: Police is investigating the incident of sending a parcel bomb in a school in Upleta town of Rajkot district in Gujarat.

SP Rajkot Balram Meena said that the improvised bomb was kept in a parcel and was sent to a teacher of the Krisha School in Upleta through a courier.

The sender is allegedly a former student of the school.

The bomb has been diffused and the whole matter is under investigation with the help of LCB.

He said that the culprit would be nabbed soon.

The bomb was received some days ago and the CCTV footage of the camera near the school gate were also being checked.
