Bank manager nabbed red handed taking bribe for release of fund of sanctioned loan

Jamnagar: The Anti Corruption Bureau of Gujarat police today nabbed red handed a bank manager in the rural area of Jamnagar district of Gujarat taking a bribe of Rs 8000 for release of fund of loan and subsidy sanctioned by the Industry department to a local for cottage industry.
ACB Assistant Director D P Chudasama said that Atul Kumar (31), manager of the Central Bank India’s branch in Kherdi village under Kalavad taluka of Jamnagar district was nabbed from the shop of the complainant in the village today.
He had sought the bribe for handing him over the demand draft of the sanctioned loan and subsidy amount.
