Seema Darshan programme has attracted 10-lakh visitors: Chief Minister Rupani at Nadabet border

Nadabet(Banaskantha district): Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani today spent time on ‘Diwali Festival’ day with Jawans of Border Security Force (BSF) at Nadabet, bordering Pakistan, in Banaskantha district and greeted them with his Diwali Greetings.

Rupani arrived at Nadabet in the morning and was offered Guard of Honour by BSF Jawans. Later, he visited temple of Nadeshwari Mataji and offered his Pooja and taken blessings.

Later, in an interaction with Media persons, the Chief Minister said that he has continued the tradition setup by Prime Minister Narendrabhai Modi to celebrate the Diwali Festival with Jawans.

From his personal visits to Jawans he learnt many problems and difficulties such as clean drinking water, towers for mobile networks, roads and others being faced by them and was able to solve them.

He also assured the jawans of all possible help and cooperation from the state government. He also visited the construction site being developed for “Seema Darshan” (Touring Borders) at Nadabet and also made his suggestions for ensuring its completion in stipulated time frame. The Seema Darshan programme was very successful and attracted over 10-lakh visitors.

The Chief Minister was accompanied by Chief Principal Secretary Kailashnathan, BSF IG G. S. Malik, and his wife, Anjaliben Rupani, and others.

Rupani during his visit went to selfie point which is created over a watch tower and took selfie with wife Anjaliben Rupani covering international border in frame.
