Rs 11 crore Chhath Puja ghaat dedicated in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad: Rs 11 crore Chhath Puja ghaat built by Amdavad Municipal Corporation(AMC) was opened today at river Sabarmati in Hansol area of city. A dedication function of ghaat was held in presence of Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar, Sushil Kumar Modi.
Modi who earlier visited the Statue of Unity at Sardar Sarovar dam in Central Gujarat said the government of Bihar would build Bihar Bhavan near Statue of Unity. It should be mentioned here that Uttar Pradesh government has also recently made similar announcement.
Sushil Kumar Modi said a ghaat built by AMC would inspire Bihar government to come up with similar ghaat on the bank of river Ganga in Bihar capital Patna.
