Rupani to visit Statue of Unity on Friday

Bharuch: Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani will be on visit to Statue of Unity at Kevadia colony in Central Gujarat on Friday. He will hold a meeting of officials and stay here during 10.30 am to 1.00 pm. His visit is believed to be about President of India Ram Nath Kovind’s upcoming visit to Statue of Unity site and All India DGP conference scheduled to take place here during 20-22 December which is likely to be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and union Home Minister Rajnath Singh along with other dignitaries. Rupani will review the improvement in tourist facilities, solution of teething problems that have come to notice, betterment of infrastructure, administrative mechanism of Statue site and surrounding area, addition of new tourist attraction, care of present tourist attractions such as Valley of Flowers and more. One month after its opening, Statue of Unity has earned Rs 5.91 crore revenue through more than 2.50 lakh visitors.
