Surat: At least six people died and more than a dozen other injured in two road mishaps in South Gujarat today.

Police said that 4 people died on the spot and 2 others injured when their SUV like vehicle collided head on with a container carrying truck near Vagaldhara in Valsad district. They were returning after participating in a marriage ceremony in Pardi.

In another mishap two people including a woman were killed and at least 10 others injured when a private luxury bus coming from Maharashtra collided with a truck near Malegaon ghat close to Saputara in Dangs district. The bus driver was also among those killed.
