Land yachting expedition of Army’s air defence wing flagged off in Rann of Kutch

Bhuj: An eight days long Land Yachting Expedition to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of the Corps of Army Air Defence was flagged off from Dhordo, Kutchht today
Brigadier Rajat Upreti, Commander, Air Defence Brigade Bhuj flagged of the expedition which consists of 15 members led by Captain Navyog Singh who shall navigate their route of approx 400 Kms sailing over the barren flat land of Rann and exploring various places like Dharamshala, Shaktibet and the festive town of Dhorodo.
The team has been trained at the Land Yachting Node located at Bhuj under the aegis of Army Adventure Wing. Apart from symbolising the Silver Jubilee celebrations of the Corps of Army Air Defence, the expedition also aims at spreading environmental awareness and motivate youths to opt Armed Forces as career.
