PM Narendra Modi to arrive in Gujarat on 3 day visit on Thursday

Gandhinagar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi would arrive in Gujarat on a three-day visit of his home-state during which he would participate in various events and also inaugurate the ninth edition of the flagship bi-annual global investors summit Vibrant Gujarat.

As per the official information PM Modi would arrive at SVPI Airport in Ahmedabad tomorrow afternoon and would move to capital Gandhinagar in a chopper soon after to inaugurate the Global Trade Show there. He would then return to Ahmedabad most likely by road and inaugurate the new complex of government run VS hospital. He would later also declare open the Ahmedabad Shopping festival at riverfront and then return to capital Gandhinagar for night halt at Rajbhavan and meeting with CEOs of major global funds at the Vibrant Gujarat Summit venue Mahatma Mandir over dinner.

On the next day ie January 18, he will inaugurate the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit which is to be held till January 20 and would see the participation of Two Presidents, Four Prime Ministers and a whole host of business leaders. The event this year has 15 partner countries and 11 international partner organizations.

PM Modi would also hold meetings with international leaders the same day and would participate in a round table meeting and Gala dinner. He would also inaugurate a laser light and sound show at Dandi Kutir and do his second night stay at Rajbhavan. He is scheduled to come to Ahmedabad Airport by road on January 19 from where he would fly to Surat to go to nearby union territory city of Silvassa by chopper.
