India withdraws Most Favoured Nation status given to Pakistan

New Delhi: A meeting of Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) was held today morning at Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s residence 7 Lok Kalyam Marg in connection with yesterday’s attack on Central Reserve Police Force convoy by a suicide bomber. Finance Minister Arun Jaitley in his short briefing after CCS meeting told media persons that a decision has been taken in the meeting to withdraw the most favoured nation (MFN) given status to Pakistan. He said diplomatic initiatives will be shared by Ministry of External Affairs.
