Lion found dead in Gir forest in Gujarat

Amreli:A Lion was found dead near Nandivela Taleti in Kothariya round of Tulsishyam range of the east Gir forests in Khambha taluka of Amreli district in Gujarat today.
CCF Junagadh D T Vasavada said that a patrol team of forest department spotted the dead beast near Nandivela taleti in sanctuary area.
It was a young male lion aged between 5 to 9 years.
He said that the RFO and staff had also rushed to the spot and ACF has visited the place.
Post Morten will be carried out as per protocol to find out the exact reason of the death.
