ACB nabs project coordinator of Gujarat Labour Welfare board taking bribe from factory owner

Gandhinagar: The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) of Gujarat police today nabbed red handed a Project coordinator of Gujarat Labour Welfare board taking bribe of Rs one thousand from a factory owner.
Assistant Director ACB Gambhirsinh Padheriya said that project coordinator (out-sourcing) Devangbhai P Patadia had visited a factory in Odhav GIDC area a few days ago and had issued notice to its owner for depositing welfare fund.
Later he demanded a bribe of Rs 1000 from the factory owner to close this notice and not to pursue it any further. On a secret complaint by him a trap was laid today and Patadia was caught red handed from the office of the factory owner in Odhav GIDC today.
