Gandhinagar: CM Vijay Rupani today said that BJP was saying for long that Hardik Patel was a ‘toy’ and agent of Congress who had utterly betrayed Patidar community for his selfish motives.

Talking to newsmen after Hardik’s formal entry in to Congress, Rupani also claimed that now the Patidar community itself would ensure humiliating defeat of Hardik if he contested election.

He said that BJP and he himself was saying for long that Hardik was a toy and agent of congress.

‘He has betrayed his own community utterly and now the same community would teach him a lesson by ensuring a humiliating defeat if he contested poll. This man earlier used to term whatever we did for the good of the community as lollipop now he must tell what was so likeable for him in the lollipop of Congress. He had claimed in front of media several times that he would never join Congress and his agitation was non-political. Now what he has done,’ the CM said.
