Army Jawan Lailesh Rathwa from Gujarat conferred with Shaurya Chakra

Chhota Udepur: Lailesh Rathwa, an Army jawan from small lehvant village of tribal populated Chhota Udepur area in Central Gujarat was presented Shaurya Chakra by the President of India in presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other dignitaries in a function held at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
Rathwa is serving in Army for last ten years. He is at present rifle man in Assam Rifle headquarters.
In year 2017 he was on duty in Manipur when in sudder terror attack in subsequent gun fight, two army men were injured. Rathwa however continued to give brave fight following which three terrorists suffered injuries and escaped the place.
Rathwa’s father and brother were present when he was presented Shaurya Chakra.
