Gandhinagar: My son has committed a mistake. He should be treated like any other ordinary students. He should be dealt in accordance with law, said president of Gujarat unit of ruling Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) Jitu Vaghani in reply to question by media in a press conference at State party headquarters Kamalam here.
My family has decided that irrespective of decision by Pariksha Shuddhi Samiti, my son is not going to give exam today, Vaghani said.
Vaghani said such things can’t be suppressed and whatever has happened is in university’s record.
Vaghani’s son was caught reportedly with 27 chits during the exam for second semester of BCA yesterday at around noon. Meet is a BCA student of Swami Vivekanand College of Computer Science, affiliated to Bhavnagar University.
Vaghani’s son was appearing for the exam at M J College of Commerce. Principal Kanjibhai Vataliya is believed to have caught him with 27 chits during supervision. According to those in know of the development, a complaint was registered against Meet with Bhavnagar University and proof submitted to the VC.
