20 idols belonging to 16th-17th century stolen from South Gujarat Jain temple

Bardoli: Four days after an incident of theft of 20 ancient idols belonging to 16th and 17th century, police is still clueless and no arrest has been made.
The incident of theft took place on Friday night at 1008 Vighnahar Parshwanath Digambar Jain temple in Vighnahar street of Mahuva town in Surat district.
The murtis were made of panchdhatu(mixture of five metals).
As Mahuva Police failed to achieve any lead, the probe has been handed over to Circle Police Inspector of Bardoli.
