Rajkot: Interacting with the media persons in Rajkot today, Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani said, BJP will win all 26 Lok Sabha seats with even higher lead compared to past.

‘Tomorrow evening, the campaign for Lok Sabha elections 2019 will end in Gujarat. PM Modi will address a grand public meeting in Patan tomorrow.’

‘Since last 28th, BJP candidates started filing nominations with rallies participated by thousands of party workers. Party campaign proceeded after that. BJP has done very good campaign. Congress is far behind. There’s no major village where BJP has not organized a public meeting. I was in a village in Kutiyana belt today where public meeting was participated by 5,000 people including 1,500 women. I will complete around 75 public meetings including two public meetings at Surendranagar today and one in Patan tomorrow.’

‘No party leader was sitting at home. Those who didn’t get ticket were also fully active to ensure party’s victory. Thousands of people of organization are working day and night with only one motive that PM Narendra Modi must be reelected.’

‘This is a national election. The agenda is – who can give security to the country. Modi can give honest governance. He is decisive, he is strong, he is patriot, he is hard worker and he is far-sighted. For five years, as PM of India, Narendrabhai has worked for poor, farmers, labourers, middle-class people, women, tribal, deprived. After so many years, a government of poor has been there in place.’

‘178 people were dead in Mumbai attack? What steps were taken by then Congress government? They couldn’t do anything. Instead they have in their manifesto said they will not remove section 370, they will amend AFSPA, removal of sedition law.’

‘Rahul Gandhi speaks about depositing Rs. 72,000 to accounts of poor. There was a Congress government in power for ten years. Why they didn’t they take care of poor then? Congress’s NYAY scheme has no clarity. How many poor are to be included, which types of poor are to be included, how much burden will be in place due to distribution of Rs. 72,000? Nothing of this sort is discussed. They just want to take vote and go away.’

‘On the contrary, the current government gives upto Rs. 5 lakh under Ayushyaman scheme. It has built houses. 15 crore families are free from smoke. Rs. 6,000 sum is going to be deposited in each farmer’s account. The Congress government had in its ten year rule, just once had waived Rs. 52,000 crore loan. We are going to spend Rs. 75,000 each year under PM-Kisan scheme. The State government purchased Rs. 5,000 crore ground nut. MUDRA scheme offers loan to youths without guarantee. For the first time, unorganized sector labourer, small shop keepers and farmers above 60 are to be covered under pension scheme. Small businessmen are given waiver from GST. Income upto Rs. 5 lakh has been given exemption from Income Tax. In response to quota related unrest, 10% quota has been created.’

‘Pakistan was cornered and isolated. Search operations are happening almost on daily basis and terrorists are killed. Ban has been put on JKLF. Economic blockade has been in place for those funding terrorism. No bomb blasts happened in last five years across the country beyond Kashmir. The issue of OROP to armed forces has been cleared. 15,000 laws have been changed. India’s prestige has increased globally under Modi as PM.’

‘Congress has been doing injustice to Gujarat. Sardar Patel was not allowed to become PM, Morarji Desai was dethroned. The people are ready to reelect BJP on all 26 seats in Gujarat in order to see Modi as PM.’

‘Earlier, Gujarat CMs were not given appointment when in Delhi. I have completed three years. Our issues have been taken care off just over phone calls. Narmada dam gate installment work was permitted in just 17 days by PM Modi. Narendrabhai gave AIIMS to Rajkot. Surat airport had just three flights, today there are 36. Rajkot and Dholera airports are approved. Rs. 3,000 crore sum has been given for infra development for Dholera. Narendrabhai cleared Rs. 10,000 crore for gas royalty. Rs. 16,000 crore national highway works are underway in the State – for the first time cement highway is being built. Bullet train to Gujarat, Rail University in vadodara, fund for cleaning of river Tapi, Ghaduli – Santalpur border road construction approval… It’s like ‘mosaale maa pirasnaar chhe’ for Gujarat as Narendrabhai is PM. As Narendrabhai is going to continue to be PM for five more years, we can imagine how many more benefits are on way for us.’

‘One more important issue is that ‘Mahagathbandhan’ alliance of opposition parties has not declared its leader. People of India want to reelect Modi as PM. There are many issues on which BJP’s stand is clear.’

‘Congress has realized that it is going to taste defeat and therefore they have started blaming EVMs. Ahmedbhai is attacking govt officials which indicates he has realized his party is going to lose.’

‘For the first time, Rs. 2600 crore crop insurance has been given to farmers, thanks to hard work of the State government. It’s not a small figure. Saurashtra Kutch, North Gujarat generally is the area affected by this issue. 96 talukas were declared scarcity-affected. The earlier criteria was upto 5 inch rain, the State government this time raised it to upto 14 inch. Rs. 13,000 sum was transferred to each farmer’s account in these talukas. Narendrabhai’s PM-Kisan scheme money of Rs. 6,000 is separate. In addition to this, the State government purchased 4 lakh tonne farm procured at MSP rate. In some talukas, crop cutting based decision by insurance companies is disputed by farmers. The government is in talk with insurance companies in this regard but majority of talukas have received enough crop insurance payment.
