In pictures: A glimpse of revamped stretch of CG Road in Ahmedabad

Gandhinagar: Amdavad Municipal Corporation is revamping city’s CG Road as smart road. A 50 meter stretch close to Stadium six road has been revamped. Next stretch where revamp work is underway is located opposite Parimal Garden. Rs. 33 crore project will eventually cover entire CG Road which was designed and developed lastly in 1995. The new design includes wider footpath, organized plantation, sitting benches, dustbins with two compartments and more. The project according to Municipal Commissioner Vijay Nehra will complete by December 2019. The motor vehicle lane will remain the same.
