Another court in Gujarat issues summons for Rahul Gandhi, 3rd one in recent times

Surat :A local court here today issued summons to Congress President Rahul Gandhi for his alleged derogatory remarks against the community to which PM Narendra Modi belong to.
This is third summons for Rahul by a Gujarat court in recent times.
The court of CJM B H Kapadia has fixed June 7 as the next date of hearing.
Local BJP MLA Purnesh Modi had filed the defamation suit under section 399 and 400 of the IPC last month after the April 13th remarks of Rahul in Kolar of Karnatka. Taking a jibe at PM Modi and his alleged proximity to fugitives like Nirav Modi and Lalit Modi, he had said that all the Modi’s were Chor.
Purnesh Modi in his complaint said that he has felt offended by the statement.
Notably, yesterday another Gujarat court in Ahmedabad had issued summons for Gandhi for his terming BJP President Amit Shah a murder accused. Prior to that for his statement about large scale deposit of scrapped notes in Ahmedabad district cooperative bank soon after demonetisation , another summons was issued for him by a court in Ahmedabad last month.
