Dreaded history sheeter Jusab Allarakha nabbed by ATS team including four woman PSI

Botad: The Anti Terrorist Squad (ATS) of Gujarat police has nabbed history sheeter criminal Jusab Allarakha Sandh from the Botad forests during an operation in which four woman police officials were involved.

Police today said that Sandh,resident of Ravani in Junagadh district was accused in at least 23 criminal cases including that of Murder, Loot, attack on police and running away from police custody etc.

He had not returned to jail even after expiry of his parole period in June last year and also murdered one Jeevanbhai Sangani soon after to avenge the killing of his aide Musha.

Various cases were lodged against him in Rajkot rural, Junagadh, Ahmedabad city and rural areas.

Based on a tip off the ATS team in which four woman PSI of the ATS, Nitamika Gohel, Shakuntala Mal, Santokben Odedara and Arunaben Gamit were involved nabbed him yesterday, police said.

Sandh used to ride horse and motorcycle and live in Jungle areas in Botad area to evade arrest. He used to threaten people and participate in land encroachments. He has been handed over to CID-crime for further action.

Women PSIs speak

Due to Jusab’s modus operandi of attacking police, the ATS team decided to nab him early in the morning. There was possibility of gun fight as Jusab is known to keep weapon with him. Therefore ATS team was well equipped. ATS team decided to nab him early in the morning when Jusab would be in sleeping position. Instead of dark, a dow time was chosen so that in case of gun fight, any innocent person may not suffer injury.
