Heart for transplant reaches hospital in Ahmedabad from Airport in just 22 minutes

Ahmedabad: The heart of a dead person in Rajkot city was brought by air here and was taken to a private hospital from the airport for transplant through a green corridor in just 22 minutes this morning.
The heart was transplanted to a critically ill 35 year old person admitted in the hospital in the city.
A police officer of the traffic wing associated with the green corridor creation said that the heart reached the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport here at 0713am and was delivered at the hospital at 0735am ie in just 22 minutes.
