Mumbai: Reliance Industries Limited (“RIL”) and Eros International PLC (“Eros”) announced today that RIL, through a subsidiary, has agreed to subscribe to a 5% equity stake in NYSE listed Eros at a price of USD15 per share, which represents an 18% premium to last closing price. Ahmedabad: State Reserve Police platoon 10 will provide security cover to 10 theaters/multiplexes that are likely to release controversial Hindi film Padmaavat on January 25. City police has decided to provide this cover in view of violent protests against the film, release of which has been cleared by the Supreme Court.

Ahmedabad: Controversial film Padmaavat will not be released in Ahmdabad, Mahesana, Vadodara and Bhavnagar. All 26 multiplexes in Ahmedabad will not screen Padmaavat. This was announced by Gujarat Multiplex Association's Rakesh Patel.
