Mumbai:The BBC Worldwide Service today said it will expand its services in 11 new languages, including four Indian languages(one of them Gujarati), as part of its biggest expansion since the 1940s.
The broadcaster will launch services in Telugu, Gujarati, Marathi and Punjabi with focus on radio services, mobile and video content.
The BBC currently offers its content in Hindi, Bengali and Tamil.

Popular microblogging website Twitter has launched 4 new Indic languages including Gujarati to its platform.
This announcement was made today on Twitter's official blog by Francesca Di Marco, localization project manager of Twitter.
