Gandhinagar: Every year thousands visit Akshardham to see its Diwali lighting. This year, to celebrate the 25th anniversary, visitors will be able to enjoy this excellent special show instead. Nalin Thakkar, Amreli: Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani today inaguruated Ambardi Lion Safari Park in Dhari taluka of Amreli district. This is the second lion safari park in Gujarat. Three lions are kept in this 1000 acre safari park. A new safari park will ease burden on Sasan Gir based safari park. The safari park is 6 km away from Dhari and 3 km away from Dhari - Amreli road. It has been developed at a cost of Rs 13 crore. It has 17 different routes for visitors.

The new safari park will be opened by Chief Minister Vijay Rupani on October 17 at Ambardi in Dhari taluka. According to the state government, the Centre had allotted 400 hectare land, located 6 km away from Dhari in June this year in response to its representation. Somnath: Rajkot based Poojara Telecom Pvt. Ltd fame Yogesh Poojara led newly launched venture 'T3 air' company is soon going to launch a 6-seater helicopter service in Gujarat connecting the city of Rajkot to Somnath and also to Dwarka on daily basis.
According to Shri Somnath Trust, the official launching of this service will take place on October 19th which is Diwali.

Sasan Gir (Gujarart): The popular Sinh Darshan (Lion safari) in the Gir National Park and Sanctuary more commonly known as Gir forest, the only abode of Asiatic lions situated in Saurashtra region of Gujarat, began today after four months of annual monsoon closure.

Cultural programmes will be presented every evening during the festival at this place.
