Ahmedabad: An Air India flight AI-171 from Ahmedabad to London via Newark with 230 passengers onboard suffered a bird hit, while it was on its way to London from Ahmedabad yesterday forcing the airline to cancel its onward journey from Britain's capital.The plane landed at Heathrow Airport at 10:39 am local time. New Delhi: National passenger carrier Air India on Wednesday said it plans to launch India's "first necklace flight" this year. This flight will connect Ahmedabad to Kolkata, Raipur, Indore, Jaipur and New Delhi.
