Ahmedabad: The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (SMC) has started installing automated swing gates that disallow all other vehicles except the BRTS buses in dedicate lane for Bus Rapid Transit System(BRTS). Each swing gate costs nearly Rs 2 lakh.

Ahmedabad: In order to reduce the burden of traffic in mixed lane, The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation(AMC) has decided to give conditional access to Gujarat Start Road Transport Corporation(GSRTC) buses to use Bus Rapid Transit System(BRTS) corridor for three months on experiment basis.

Ahmedabad: In a great relief to commuters, the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation(AMC) has decided t run 49 buses of Ahmedabad Municipal Transport Service(AMS) in Bus Rapid Transit System(BRTS) track on the stretch from Shivranjani cross roads to Ghuma village. Rajkot: Bus Rapid Transit System(BRTS) track in Rajkot will soon have movement of electric buses.
As many as five electric buses will run on BRTS track between Madhapar Chokdi and Gondal Chokdi as per the municipal commissioner Banchhanidhi Pani.
Pani said the buses will be available through the Airport Authority of India(AAI) as per a pact signed with the Rajkot Municipal Corporation(RMC).
