Surat: Bypolls were held across 30 seats in 19 civic bodies in Gujarat on Sunday. However, in Ward no. 20 of Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC), only 24% of voters turned out for polling. Additionally, in 29 other seats of 18 municipalities, the cumulative voting turnout was 46.32 percent. The vote counting will take place on Tuesday, according to the State Election Commission.
