Desilting work of mega pipeline; 1100 industrial units to remain shut in Ahmedabad from Mar 5

Amdavad: More than 1,100 chemical and textile units in Ahmedabad, located in key industrial areas such as Naroda, Vatva, and Odhav, will remain shut for 10 days starting from March 5. The reason for the closure is that the Ahmedabad Mega Clean Association (AMCA) will be conducting desilting work on the mega pipeline and installing meters at key locations to measure effluent water flow.
