Gandhinagar: Rotterdam headquartered global tank storage leader firm Royal Vopak today signed memorandum of understanding(MoU) with department of petrochemicals, Government of Gujarat in presence of State Chief Minister Vijay Rupani to set up Rs 1500 crore project at Dahej chemical terminal in Central Gujarat.
As per the MoU, Royal Vopak will set up its plant at Dahej PCPIR chemical terminal.
MoU for this project was signed by IAS MK Das and Royal Vopak MD Dipak Gajanan Dalvi.

Ahmedabad: Speaking at FICCI event in Ahmedabad today, Raghavendra Rao, Secretary, Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals, Government of India said, imports of chemicals and petrochemicals in India is around 3 lakh crores whereas the exports are placed somewhere around 2 lakh crores.

Gandhinagar: United Phosphorus Ltd has signed a memorandum of understanding(MoU) with Gujarat government for Rs 6,000 crore investment.

Ahmedabad: Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation(AMC) has sealed three chemical units in Baherampura area of city.
They are sealed as they were functional even after closure notice issued to them by Gujarat Pollution Control Board.
