Bhavnagar: Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani today launched Ro-Pax ferry service between Ghogha (Bhavnagar district in Saurshtra region) and Daej (Bharuch district of Central Gujarat region) which is first of its kind in India. Ro-Pax service, trial run for which are completed will start its services with South Korea manufactured Voyage Symphony vessel. With this, already existing passenger ferry service will also resume its services post monsoon break.

Bharuch: A 55 year old crew member of a tug boat died a tragic death during an accident involving Ropex ferry service vessel Voyage Symphony's trail run from Dahej in Bharuch district this afternoon.

Ahmedabad: India's first Ro-Pax ferry service between Ghogha and Dahej ports will be launched by Chief Minister Vijay Rupani on 27th October. With this the Vessel 'Voyage Symphony' which has been made in South Korea will sail on its maiden journey from Ghogha terminal to Dahej. Voyage Symphony has already conducted trial runs on this route successfully recently.
The high speed 'passenger' ferry service on the same route was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 22nd October 2017.

Bharuch: First trial run of RoPax vessel - Voyage Symphony from Ghogha to Dahej and docking at Dahej Terminal has been successful. Commercial services will be started shortly, tweeted Gujarat Maritime Board CEO Mukesh Kumar(IAS).
Later Ministry of Shipping informed that second trial run from Dahej to Ghogha was also successful. 12 trucks were loaded and sent to Ghogha from Dahej in this round of trial.

Gandhinagar: Rotterdam headquartered global tank storage leader firm Royal Vopak today signed memorandum of understanding(MoU) with department of petrochemicals, Government of Gujarat in presence of State Chief Minister Vijay Rupani to set up Rs 1500 crore project at Dahej chemical terminal in Central Gujarat.
As per the MoU, Royal Vopak will set up its plant at Dahej PCPIR chemical terminal.
MoU for this project was signed by IAS MK Das and Royal Vopak MD Dipak Gajanan Dalvi.

Bhavnagar: RoPax vessel Voyage Symphony has been docked at Ghogha jetty for Dahej-Ghogha ro-ro ferry service which is likely to start this month. The vessel was docked at Okha port for last few months after its arrival from South Korea due to monsoon period. It was brought to Ghogha jetty and docked without assistance of tug last evening. Ahmedabad: A 10 MW solar power plant of ONGC has been made operational at Dahej in Gujarat.
It was inaugurated by the Chairman and Managing Director, ONGC, Mr Shashi Shanker recently. The turnkey contract for building the 10 MW solar plant was awarded to Vikram Solar Limited, India’s leading module manufacturer and solar EPC player. Bhavnagar: Ro - Ro ferry vessel for Dahej - Ghogha sea route has arrived from abroad and anchored at present at Okha port of Saurashtra region of Gujarat. While the service of passenger ferry has been put on halt due to monsoon period, it will resume with Ro - Ro passenger and vehicle ferry facility post monsoon.

Bhavnagar: Dahej - Ghogha ro ro passenger ferry service which is operated by Gujarat Maritime Board(GMB) and private company Indigo Overseas under Public Private Partnership(PPP) model will not operate during the period of monsoon.
The service was suspended for the period of monsoon with effect from today morning.
