At least 4 passengers of a GSRTC run bus (ST bus) died and 25 others injured when it collided head on with a speeding bus near Kerala village under Lathi police station of Amreli district in Gujarat today.
Police said that the ST bus of Savarkundala-Unjha route collided with a truck.
Himmatbhai Sarviaya (83), Rohit Sarvaiya (40), Azinbanoo (03) and Dwinetra Chauhan (230 died on the spot while 25 others injured. All the four deceased were residents of Savarkundala.

Ahmedabad: In order to reduce the burden of traffic in mixed lane, The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation(AMC) has decided to give conditional access to Gujarat Start Road Transport Corporation(GSRTC) buses to use Bus Rapid Transit System(BRTS) corridor for three months on experiment basis.

Gandhinagar: A mobile school on wheel was launched today for the benefit of children of salt workers and laborers here. Rs 3.50 lakh mobile school has been started by the State government under Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan.
The bus has solar system, green board, pvc flooring, TV, D2H set top box, drinking water facility, 19 writing desks and other facilities.

Surat: Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation(GSRTC) has started metro link bus service connecting Surat to Navsari from Wednesday. With introduction of this bus service, the passengers will be able to travel between Surat and Navsari in Express bus time at a cost of local bus ticket fare. Around 20,000 people are likely to benefit from this service.

Surat: Gujarat Chief Minister Mr. Vijay Rupani today inaugurated a modern Bus Station at Adajan in Surat, built at a cost of Rs.61.12-crore on PPP basis jointly by Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) and Hub Town Bus Terminal Private Limited.
