Mumbai: Rita Bhaduri, 62-year old Bengali actress who worked in number of Gujarati and Hindi movies and TV shows passed away today in Mumbai. She was suffering from kidney disease. She passed away today morning after suffering cardiac arrest at Sujoy Hospital in suburban Juhu at 1.45 am. She was hospitalized from last two weeks. Her final rites took place in Andheri East at noon today.

Ahmedabad: Much awaited Gujarati movie Natsamrat which is an adaptation of super hit Marathi film Natsamrat will release on 30th August.
The film is presented by Jhamu Sughand who has in the past given movies like Lagaan, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and Rangeela.
Gujarati movie Natsamrat has renown actors such as Siddharth Randeria, Manoj Joshi and Dipika Chikhalia Topiwala.
The film is directed by Jayant Gilatar.

New Delhi: Dhh has been declared the best Gujarati movie. Shekhar Kapoor made this announcement while declaring the 65th National Film Awards. A film about a magician (played by Naseeruddin Shah), who helps three boys through their exams.

Gandhinagar: Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani today handed over Rs 1 crore cheque to makers of Gujarati film 'Wrong Side Raju' in capital Gandhinagar today.
As per a policy for Gujarati films announced in February last year, Gujarati film that wins National Award gets Rs 1 crore reward.
