Ahmedabad: Prakash N Shah has been declared victorious in the election of the post of President of Gujarati Sahitya Parishad. Shah got 562 of 1292 votes. Other candidates Harshad Trivedi and Harikrushna Pathak got 533 and 197 votes respectively. Out of total 1337 vote, 45 were declared invalid. Shah will be on this post for three years. Ahmedabad, 20 May 2012 Eminent Gujarati critic, writer and president of Gujarati Sahitya Parishad Bholabhai Patel today died here at the age of 79 after a prolonged illness.
