Ambaji: Pilgrim town Ambaji is observing strike today demanding better medical facilities at government hospital here.
The strike call has been given by Ambaji Heet Raksha Samiti.
The local complained that people die due to lack of medical treatment in pilgrim town mostly in the cases of heart attack and accidents.
They say, the government has built a state-of-the-art hospital, but it is not much of use due to lack of expert doctors.

Gandhinagar: Finance Minister Nitin Patel today made several new announcements related to the Maa Vatsalya Yojana which provides free healthcare to needy people in the State.
According to the announcements made by Finance minister in his budget speech, upto Rs 3 lakh medical treatment will be free under Maa Vatsalya Yojana. At present the ceiling limit is Rs 2 lakh.

Mumbai:In a freak incident of negligence, a 32-year-old Gujarati man Rajesh Maru who was attending a patient(his mother-in-law) died after he was pinned by a leaking oxygen cylinder to an MRI machine in a Mumbai hospital on Saturday evening.
