Himmatnagar: 20-day long training camps of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh(RSS) Gujarat are underway at Himmatnagar in North Gujarat and Bhavnagar in Saurashtra region, stated a note released by RSS media wing 'Vishwa Samvad Kendra' today.
The first year Sangh Shiksha Varg started on 7th May at both places for 20 days.
Yogasan, Niyudhdh, Dand, Bauddhik etc activities are part of 20-day camps in which dharma, sanskriti etc subjects are also covered according to a note.

Locomotives of Indian Railways have capacity to pull 26 coaches but in many trains connecting Ahmedabad railway station there are 19-22 coaches and therefore passengers can't get enough confirmed tickets.
When this issue was raised by media persons at the press conference held by Ahmedabad Railway Division railway manager Rahul Agrawal yesterday, he replied it like this:
- To increase the number of coaches, first we need to increase the length of railway platform.

Rajpur near Himmatnagar in Sabarkantha district of north Gujarat will get Rs 38 crore polytechnic under Kamdhenu University.
Groundbreaking for a 79 hectare campus of polytechnic was performed today by Chief Minister Anandiben Patel.

Gujarat Chief Minister today dedicated Rs 240 crore medical college at district headquarters Himmatnagar in Sabarkantha district of north Gujarat today. The medical college will be run by Gujarat Medical Education and Research Society(GMERS). Buildings of hostel and staff quarters were also inaugurated on this occasion.
150-seat capacity medical college has 127 students in its first year batch at present.
