Controversial Junagadh govt hospital blood bank sealed

Gandhinagar, 2 November, 2011 Gujarat government's Food and Drugs Commissioner on Wednesday ordered sealing of government blood bank in Junagadh. The blood bank had allegedly gifted HIV virus to 23 thalassemic children with blood transfusion. This step has been taken very lately. The issue came to light in second week of September.
