New Delhi: The Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) has approved Indian Air Force(IAF) plan to set up a forward fighter base at Deesa in Banaskantha district of North Gujarat.
English daily The Hindustan Times reports, the decision on this long pending demand was taken by CCS meeting headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday.

New Delhi: Indigenously developed light weight Glide Bomb, SAAW (Smart Anti Airfield Weapon) was successfully tested from Indian Air Force aircraft in the ranges at ITR, Chandipur, Odisha.
