From Harinder Mishra Amman President Pranab Mukherjee today inaugurated a street in the capital city of Jordan named after Mahatma Gandhi. A part of the Saddzagloul Street has been named the Mahatma Gandhi Street which after two intersections retains its old name which honours the Egyptian movement leader. From Harinder Mishra Amman President Pranab Mukherjee and Jordananian King Abdullah II today inaugurated the world's largest sulphuric acid plant, an Indian joint venture built at a cost of USD 860 million. India announces USD 500,000 assistance to Jordan

New Delhi India today announced a cash assistance of USD 500,000 to Jordan to meet the enormous impact of Syrian refugee crisis.
