Mahesana: The first batch of 254 students from the Japan-India Institute for Manufacturing (JIM) in Mehsana, Gujarat, has completed their course. Earlier today, they received the ‘Certificate of Course Completion’ for skills in Japanese Manufacturing Practices and Processes, at the Maruti Suzuki-supported institute in association with Ganpat University.

Ahmedabad: Auto manufacturer UNO MINDA Group has opened two new manufacturing plants in Ahmedabad, Gujarat today,said a statement issued by the company.
The two new plants namely Minda Kosei Aluminum Wheels Ltd. (MKAW) and Mindarika Pvt Ltd (MRPL) will manufacture Alloy wheels and Switches & HVAC system respectively. Mahesana: Auto giant Maruti has joined hands with Indian Railways to transport its cars manufactured in Gujarat plant to various parts of the country via trains.
As per the pact, railways has given a space in Detroj to Maruti and also made available a facility for loading of vehicles in train.
First such train carrying 125 Swift cars will leave for Bengaluru on Saturday from Detroj. Each wagon of train will contain 5 Swift cars.

Rajkot: Maruti Suzuki will set up an Institute of Driver Training and Research (IDTR) in Rajkot. This will be the second such facility in Gujarat by Maruti after the earlier one in Waghodia in Central Gujarat.

New Delhi: The country's largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki India Limited today in a statement said that the company is passing on the entire benefit of GST rates on vehicles to its customers.

Ahmedabad: Encouraged by support of the state and central government, Suzuki Motors has started working on 'B' line at its Gujarat plant. This is the second line in addition to existing 'A' line which is going to be inaugurated next month.
