Vadodara: Vadodara district milk producers federation (Baroda Dairy) has started supplying 20,000 litre milk to Mumbai this week. The first tanker to Mumbai was flagged off by governing board members and dairy president. The dairy will supply daily 20,000 litre milk to Mumbai which will first reach Boisar based Valsad Dairy's pouch packing plant - Vasudhara. Surat:The Surat District Co-operative Milk Producers' Union Ltd popularly known as SUMUL Dairy, one of the 18 dairies of Gujarat associated with brand Amul, has announced to decrease its milk procurement prices from by Rs 10 per kg fat with effect from January 1, 2019.

Mahesana: Mahesana district based Dudhsagar dairy which was largely in news in recent years for scams under former leadership of vipul Chaudhary has reduced procurement rate of milk by Rs 25 per kg fat. With this, in one month, the procurement price is down by Rs 50. According to vice chairman of dairy, Meghjibhai Chaudhary, price cut in procurement is temporary.

Diyodar (Banaskantha): A new complex of the Banaskantha District Cooperative Milk Producers Union Ltd, better known as Banas Dairy, would be set up in Diyodar area, its chairman and former minister Shankar Chaudhary today informed.
Palanpur based Banas dairy, the largest among the 18 dairies under the Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation Ltd (GCMMF), which owns brand Amul, procures around 50 lakh liters of milk per day from more than 3.5 lakh milk producers.

Mahesana: The Mehsana District Co-operative Milk Producers' Union Limited popularly known as Dudhsarar Dairy, one of the 18 member dairies of Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation that owns brand Amul, has reduced the milk procurement price by Rs 25 per kg fat again from October 1.
This is the third reduction in the prices in around 4 months time.
The dairy has reduced the price by Rs 25 per kg fat and the new price is Rs 550 per kg fat.

The Sabarkantha District Co-operative Milk Producers' Union Ltd popularly known as Sabar Dairy, one of the 18 dairies of Gujarat associated with brand Amul, has also decided to decrease its milk procurement prices with effect from October 1.
There will be a decrease of Rs 20 per kg fat and the new price would be Rs 600 per kg fat. Sabar Dairy had around one a half month back also decreased the procurement price by Rs 40 per kg fat.
