Gandhinagar: Gujarat BJP today strongly protested Congress-ruled Karnataka government's decision to rename 100 Morarji Desai residential schools in the state as Indra Gandhi residential schools.

Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel today inaugurated Rs 7 crore museum dedicated to former Prime Minister of India and son of Gujarat Shri Morarji Desai in Valsad town of south Gujarat. The latest digital technology has been used in this museum in which there's also a section on common virtues between Morarji Desai and Narendra Modi. The museum has been built under Swarnim model town scheme by Valsad Municipality.

The airport in Surat is likely to get the name of Late Prime Minister Shri Morarji Desai.
