A mob of villagers today went on rampage in Nagrama village under Nimbasi police station of Kheda district in Central Gujarat and damaged the office of a private sewage disposal company and torched/damaged at least 4 vehicles.
The villagers from Nagrama and around were against the permission given to Cluster Enviro Private Limited which disposes industrial hazardous waste. It has created a landfill facility in the village for the purpose.

Nadiad: A group of tobacco growing farmers marched in a rally from Santram temple and reached Collector office demanding solution of tangle between the farmers and the traders over GST.
According to farmers, the traders are not purchasing tobacco from farmers due to 28% GST imposed by the government. The traders need to pay 28% GST in advance. Moreover 5% GST is levied on row tobacco.
