Gandhinagar: The overall power demand in Gujarat soared to a new peak on Tuesday, surpassing the 22,800 MW. This is a significant increase compared to the same period last year when the highest single-day demand in the first half of April was recorded at 20,747 MW. New Delhi: Gujarat tops the list of Indian states for installed electricity generation capacity, according to the 'Energy Statistics India' report for 2023 by MOSPI. Gandhinagar: The Gujarat Energy Department has set a goal of reducing carbon emission from energy production by 139 million tons till 2030.
