Junagadh: An around 10 year old Asiatic lion died in Gir forests in Mendarana area of Junagadh district in Gujarat, a forest official said today. The local RFO said that the lion died owing to illness in Kenedipur area of Gir forests yesterday. Amreli: A forest guard was injured by a lioness in Chachai round of Paniya range of Gir forests in Amreli district of Gujarat.
