Statue of Unity: Construction work for a jetty in river Narmada has been commenced close to the Statue of Unity. The jetty will be used for operation of capsule boats to Statue of Unity. Bharuch: In just four months period, as many as 10 lakh people visited the Statue of Unity at Kevadia Colony in Gujarat, resulting into Rs. 24 crore revenue to government run trust. The statue was opened for public on 31st of October last year. In first four months post its opening 1022,573 people visited the statue. The revenue earned through tickets was Rs. 24,79,35,233. New Delhi: Railways will run a special train for tourists visiting the Statue of Unity in Gujarat, a statement from the ministry said.
