Ahmedabad: Vistara flight departed from Ahmedabad for Delhi last evening experienced a technical problem in one of its engines after departure and landed at Ahmedabad, at 8.55 pm.
All passengers were safe.
'Flight number UK966 was cancelled due to this technical glitch and relief aircraft was being sent from Delhi which was scheduled to depart from Ahmedabad at 0130 hrs,' according to Vistara.

Tata-Singapore Airlines joint venture carrier Vistara in association with Mumbai airport today launched mobile phone boarding pass facility to its flyers bound for Goa, Ahmedabad and Goa from the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport here.

Tata-Singapore Airlines joint venture airline Vistara tonight announced the launch of its operations from January 9 with flight from Delhi to Mumbai and Ahmedabad.
The full-service airline, which is a 51:49 joint venture between Tata Sons and Singapore Airlines, opened its bookings at 22:30 hours tonight.
