Ahmedabad city police has banned vehicular traffic movement on CG Road and SG Highway on 31st December night.

In a notification issued today it was stated that all types of midsize and heavy vehicles will be banned for movement on SG highway baring fire brigade, ambulance and government vehicles.

Similarly on CG road, none vehicle will be permitted on 31st December night. However stadium cross road, Swastik cross road, Girish cold drink and Body line cross roads will remain open for traffic just to allow vehicles to cross the road.
