Celebrity author Chetan Bhagat is very excited about a new Hindi film (in production at this time) based on his novel ‘3 mistakes of my life’. Few weeks back he had announced that the name of a new Hindi film based on his novel will be in Gujarati, but didn’t reveal the name as UTV prevented him to do so. But today Chetan Bhagat announced the name of his new film ‘Kai po che’ through tweet on Twitter. Bhagat in subsequent tweets announced a competition on Twitter asking the meaning of Kai Po Che.

The film is on floor in Gujarat’s Vadnagar.Few scenes are also to be filmed in Ahmedabad.

Film Director Abhishek Kapoor has shared a photo of Vadnagar’s Shiv mandir(below) where shooting is taking place presently.

Speaking to a bollywood website, Chetan Bhagat had recently said, “I am happy and excited that the film is finally on floors. Abhishek Kapoor is braving the hot summer heat in Gujarat with the entire cast and crew. They are shooting in Vadnagar in Mehsana district of Gujarat and will also be filming scenes in Ahmedabad. I myself am dying to get on set soon.”

Chetan further added, “When the film was announced, people were telling us that this film won’t be allowed to screen in Gujarat. But I am happy to state that the Government of Gujarat has been very co-operative to us and in fact almost the entire film is being shot there in actual locations. We also met up with the CM of Gujarat- Mr. Narendra Modi who has been very co-operative in allowing us to shoot the film in Gujarat and he has also ensured that the film will release in Gujarat as well.”
