Ahmedabad City Police Crime Branch today arrested one Faisal Qureshi who was lure Hindu girls by using fake Facebook account identity of Hindu boy Raj Malhotra and later blackmail them.

Police has in its initial probe found that Faisal had contacted about 15 Hindu girls by using fake identity in Facebook. When some girl tried to complain, Faisal issued threat, police said. On complaint of one of the victim girls, police has arrested Faisal.

According to the details shared by Crime Branch, a complainant girl lives in western area of Ahmedabad. Five years back she came in contact of one Raj Malhotra who claimed he was a Hindu boy.

During their love affair, both used to talk on phone. Once a Hindu girl found Raj Malhotra(Faisal Qureshi) saying ‘Salam Alaykum’ over phone and conversing in (Muslim style)Hindi. When she inquired about this, Qureshi said that he had Muslim friends and therefore was talking with them in this style. Later when she saw Raj Malhotra’s facebook profile, she found that he was having all Muslim friends. A girl later came to know that he was a Muslim. This boy too later admitted that he was a Muslim and his name was Faisal Qureshi and he was from Baherampura, Parikshitlal Nagar block 22/507.

Victim girl stopped communicating with Faisal. Later Faisal told her that he had a video cliping featuring her. He started threatening victim girl on phone and threatened to put her photographs on pornographic site. He also issued threat of acid attack after he leaves jail if she files police complaint.

Later Faisal started issuing threat to girl’s parents to defame them in society.

Victim girl finally filed complaint in Ahmedabad police crime branch cyber cell. On the basis of phone calls record, Faisal Qureshi was held. Police has found that accused Qureshi had sent friendship request to number of Hindu girls through Facebook, Skype and other websites using Raj Malhotra profile. He had also sent ‘Hi hello’ messages to several Hindu girls.
