Centre grants permission for gas supply to Amreli and Patan

According to Finance Minister Shri Saurabh Patel, the BJP-led NDA government in centre has granted permission to for piped gas supply to home users in Amreli and Patan districts of Gujarat that earlier Congress-led UPA government had denied.
Patel said Gujarat Gas company has been granted permission to lay gas pipeline in Amreli district while Sabarmati Gas company has been granted permission to lay gas pipeline in Patan district.
This will make it possible to supply gas to Babra, Kunkavav, Bagasara, Amreli, Lathi, Liliya, Savarkundla, Dhari, Khambha, Rajula and Jafrabad taluka of Amreli and Santalupur, Radhanpur, Sami, Harij, Chanasma, Patan and Siddhpur talukas of Patan district.
Gujara Gas has target to supply gas to new 2.5 lakh home usage connection and set up 35 new CNG stations.
